The culture and identity of the Texas Brahmas Youth Hockey Association (TBYHA) has been built upon the foundation and leadership of a passionate community of coaches, parents and young athletes. From the early introductory skating programs right up to the Texas Brahmas Professional Team all participants and staff members have embraced a culture of strong community and family values, selflessness, a tireless work ethic, respect and responsibility.  TBYHA’s core values have been adopted directly from, and are fully consistent with, the USA Hockey Guidelines.

Brahmas Hockey

Located in North Richland Hills, a beautiful suburb that sits in northeast Tarrant County. Purchased in March 2007 by NYTEX Sports LLC, which includes partners: Dr. Salvatore Trazzera, Frank Trazzera, Jim Makens, Knute Anderson and Patrick Luongo. 2,400 seat multi-purpose arena with five suites and one owner’s suite. 140,000 square feet includes: NHL regulation sized public skating rinks open for various activities,including youth hockey organizations and public skating, an indoor soccer arena in adddition to the 30,000 square foot multi-purpose arena for volleyball and other events. 10-year-old building was renovated to its original design. Home to the Central Hockey League’s (CHL) Texas Brahmas. Home to the Tejas Volleyball Club- a USA Volleyball Club Program in the Northeast Tarrant County area. Home to The Hockey Shop- a hockey pro shop/official provider of BrahmaWear merchandise. They offer an assortment of equipment and outerwear for all your hockey needs. Home of the Dallas Derby Devils- the original DFW female roller derby league, the largest flat track derby league in the south. Home of the TCG Arena- a “fast grass” artificial turf indoor soccer field used for men’s, women’s and kid’s soccer leagues all year round. Home of ZuRoma Bar and Grill- a Sicilian food restaurant with a menu full of great food for any craving.



Junior Brahmas Hockey

Our Promise is to instill respect, responsibility and commitment in our young athletes by testing each player on and off the ice through the P.A.T.H.  Our P.A.T.H. program defines the goals and guidelines for our association which focuses on skill development, physical conditioning, confidence and character-building for all of our players.


Ragazzi Italian Kitchen and Bar

At Ragazzi Italian Kitchen and Bar authentic Italian cuisine and good times come together at Long Island's most exciting new restaurant. Ragazzi's spectacular dining room and bar are the perfect place for everything from a "Girls night out," to an intimate date. Choose from a variety of savory menu items including homemade specialties like "Gnocchi Bolognese" and "Lasagna Rollatini." Ragazzi offers tapas done "Italian Style" in our elegant bar area. Come sample our famous "Sushi Italiano," homemade "Stromboli" and "Italian Primavera," our version of Italian Spring rolls. 



The NYTEX Sports Center

The NYTEX Sports Center is located in North Richland Hills, a beautiful suburb that sits in the heart of the mid-cities in northeast Tarrant County. The premier 140,000 sq. ft. facility house ice hockey, skating, indoor football and soccer field, five-indoor volleyball courts and a full bar & grill restaurant.

Purchased in March 2007 by NYTEX Sports, LLC it has been completely re-branded, revamped and reopened.



USA Hockey

USA Hockey, Inc., founded in 1936-37, is the National Governing Body for the sport of ice hockey in the United States. Its mission is to promote the growth of hockey in America and provide the best possible experience for all participants by encouraging, developing, advancing and administering the sport.
